| Although the Price
Chair in Public Interest Law and the USD
School of Law support CPIL’s academic component,
Professor Fellmeth and CPIL professional staff must
raise additional funding to finance the Center’s
advocacy component. Such additional funding is generated
through private foundation and government grants, test
litigation in which CPIL is reimbursed its attorneys’
fees, compensated public interest intervention before
the state Public
Utilities Commission and Department
of Insurance, and individual contributions.
Contributions to the Center for Public Interest Law are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law, and help to finance the representation of diffuse, powerless, and future interests, and to educate a new generation of public interest advocates.
Please send contributions to: Center for Public Interest Law, University of San Diego School of Law, 5998 Alcalá Park, San Diego, CA 92110, or call 619-260-4806.
To make a donation to CPIL online, please visit the
